As we approach the end of 2023, I find myself reflecting on the intense and enlightening journey of Boom Labs, particularly the critical period from late 2021 to 2022. Our mission to bridge Web2 and Web3 through a multi-chain API was ambitious, and while the venture ultimately concluded with the difficult decision to shut down, the lessons learned and experiences gained have been invaluable. As the business and product-focused founder, I want to share our story of product development, market challenges, and the insights gleaned from this venture.

As I sit here in 2014, looking back on the whirlwind journey that was Jaja.tv, I’m struck by how quickly technology evolves and how what seemed cutting-edge just a few years ago is now commonplace. From 2010 to 2012, our team at Jaja.tv in Austin, Texas, was at the forefront of a revolution in how people interact with television - a concept now known as the “second screen.”
