As the Principal Engineering Consultant for a major e-commerce player in India, I led the development of two groundbreaking platforms that significantly boosted our revenue streams and user engagement: an advanced Ad Platform and an innovative Social Commerce solution.

As the lead of the Machine Learning team at Hike Limited, I spearheaded the development of an innovative, AI-driven vernacular sticker keyboard. This project aimed to revolutionize user expression by intelligently suggesting stickers based on multilingual inputs, including Hinglish, Tamil English, and various other language combinations.

In the early 2010s, as India’s e-commerce landscape was just beginning to take shape, I had the opportunity to lead a transformative project at Tradus. As the Senior Engineering Manager, I was tasked with developing India’s first true e-commerce marketplace, a challenge that would push the boundaries of what was possible in the country’s nascent online retail space.

As a Principal Engineering Consultant for a leading e-commerce company in India, I spearheaded a transformative project to migrate our platform from Magento to a custom-built, Python-based solution. This ambitious undertaking not only modernized our technology stack but also set the stage for unprecedented scalability and innovation.

In the early 2010s, as digital advertising was gaining momentum in India, I had the opportunity to work at Tyroo, the country’s largest adtech company at the time. As a Software Engineer, my role was pivotal in developing analytical systems that would shape the future of data-driven advertising in the region.

In 2009, as the mobile communication landscape was rapidly evolving, I had the opportunity to work on a groundbreaking project at Kirusa in New Delhi, India. As a Software Engineer, I was part of the team responsible for developing and implementing Kirusa Voice SMS, an innovative application that combined voice and SMS messaging, ultimately reaching over 250 million users.

In 2007-2008, fresh out of university, I had the extraordinary opportunity to join SlideShare as one of its first five software engineers. This experience thrust me into the heart of a startup that would go on to revolutionize how people share and access professional content online.

In 2008-2009, as mobile technology was beginning to transform various industries, I had the opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking project at MPower Money in New Delhi, India. As a Software Engineer, I was instrumental in developing PHIRE, the world’s first mobile debit network that allowed users to perform banking transactions via SMS, leveraging the power of Python and advanced metaprogramming techniques.
